Our trip to the West Allis Farmers Market in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was blooming with activity! This farmers market, celebrating 100 years this year, is a bustling community market with a large variety of vendors selling farm fresh produce, dairy products, and an incredible selection of plants! We found house plants (so many fun succulents and cacti), flowers (like this gorgeous bouquet), and gardening plants. We left with an amazing variety of peppers (habanero, cayenne, bell, and banana) from Bower’s Produce to add to our home garden.
While shopping, we sipped a delicious cup of coffee from For All The Right Reasons Foundation, that supports veterans. One of the most popular items we saw at the market were the snap peas!
